BeautyFitHealth.Com-Update Update
Toronto Sunrise!

Hello, I wanted to just give you a quick update.  I’ve been so busy with my online classes, blogs and being a stay-at-home mom, I’ve been neglecting to update.  Sorry.

I am so happy the groundhog didn’t see his shadow.  Although this hasn’t been a bad winter (knocks on wood), I’m ready for spring and spending more time outdoors.

I have started working out again.  I’ve been doing the FB Booty workout plan.  I do that workout before lunch and I do the BodyRock Intermediate Bootcamp Workout after dinner.  I’m so sedentary lately, that working out twice a day makes me feel better.  It usually adds up to about 45 minutes of working out a day.

Before and during my workouts I drink Venice Beach Fat Burning Fitness Tea.  It gives me energy and also detoxes my body.  It has a pleasant taste too.

ICYMI:  I have a few giveaways happening on the blog.  Be sure to enter because they end in a couple of weeks.

Gym Bag Essentials Giveaway  Ends 2/16

Eating Healthy In The New Year Giveaway Ends 2/18

Red Apple Lipstick $50 Gift Card Giveaway  Ends 2/14

Also, I received some skin care products from xtendlife.  I will be reviewing the products in a few weeks, but until then check out their website.  One of the products I’m most excited to try is the Zupafood for SKIN! It’s a powder that you mix in water.  It contains collagen, grape seed extract, vitamin C and other great ingredients. The Zupafood for SKIN helps to improve firmness and elasticity to the skin.  They have lots of great products for skin care, weight management, fitness and health.  Most of their products contain natural and raw ingredients.

Gettin’ Lean In 2014 Update: Week 26

A rose from our garden in Vancouver

Not much to report.  Noticing I’m not as bloated during Aunt Flo as usual.  I stop using artificial  sweeteners in my coffee and tea and think that has made a difference.  I did a few workouts last week.  Mainly I walked a lot.  Mostly from room to room packing up stuff.

My milia has gotten a lot better.  You know what has worked the best?!  Several times a day I put a hot towel on my face.  I leave it there until it gets cold. After that I put tea tree oil on my face.  Before bed I put Garnier Ultra-Lift Cream.  The only reason I use that cream is because it has retinol in it and I had some samples.   I notice the milia are flatter and there are less of them.

I will be glad when we are finally in Toronto. Looking forward to settling down to our new life.

No workouts scheduled for week 27.  Still packing!

As you all know I’m a Go Fit Gals Ambassador and I’m very happy to announce that they have slashed prices on their plans.  I just bought the Go-Fit 21 plan for $39.99!  That’s a huge price reduction.  You have to go to their website!  If you sign up for a plan, make sure to tell them I sent you! I probably won’t start the Go-Fit 21 until we have been settled in Toronto for awhile, but I wanted to make sure I bought it now because of the great price.

Recipe of the week:
Go Fit Gals approved Mango Margaritas
2C frozen mango
juice from 1 orange
2 oz clear tequila
1 oz triple sec
2-4 ice cubes
Blend until desired consistency.
Serves 2
I’m going to need several after this move! A great drink for the 4th of July celebration too!

Please feel free to connect me with on, Pinterest, on Twitter as GFGKelly or Dancingvalentin, Facebook or on my blog.

I had never heard of Seacret until I was introduced to the products by my cousin.  Seacret are skincare products that use the healing powers of the Dead Sea to cleanse and improve the skin’s texture and make it look like new again.

M4 Magentic Mud Mask

My cousin a Seacret Agent was nice enough to send me samples of the Seacret products for me to try.  I received  the Mineral-Rich Peeling Gel.  It made my skin look and feel soft and smooth after one application. The Recover Day Masque which you leave on the skin until it becomes powdery.  After removing it I noticed an nice improvement in my skin.  Skin looked tighter. The M4 Magnetic Mud Mask.  This mask uses a magnet to remove the mud from your face. My skin looked brighter after using it.   The Body Butter kept my skin moisturized for hours and had a very lovely scent.  And finally the Salt & Oil Scrub.  This product hydrated my skin and gave it a nice glow.

Zax’s Darkspot Cream Review & Giveaway

I have a few spots on my face that refused to go away.  I was offered the chance to try Zax’s Darkspot Cream.  I used the cream two times daily after cleansing my face. I would just put the cream on the spots and use my regular moisturizer on the rest of my face. Within the first week I noticed the spots were fading.  After using it for four weeks the spots are gone.

Zax’s Darkspot Cream has a light citrus scent.  It’s light and blends in quickly.  I didn’t experience any breakouts with it either. Zax’s Darkspot Cream is recommended for sun spots and liver spots too. It’s made with natural ingredients like licorice extract and aloe.   I highly recommend this product.  Go to to find out more about this and their other products.

The good people at Zax’s have graciously offered to giveaway one tube of the Darkspot Cream to one of my readers.  Just use the Rafflecopter widget below to enter.  The giveaway starts November 4, 2013 at 12:00 am and ends November 20th 12:00 am. The giveaway is open to Canadian residents only.

EvaOlivia Organics Review & Giveaway!

Blogger Giveaway 07-2013.JPG
87.Bath & Shower Gel
EvaOlivia Bath & Shower Gels

I’m always looking for products for my extremely dry skin and for my daughter’s sensitive skin.  I have tried many products with some success, but with the products from EvaOlivia I think I have finally found my match.

I’ve had the pleasure of trying their products for the past few weeks.  EvaOlivia Organics were nice enough to send me a basket full of products.  The products were the Citrus Magic and Sweet Shea All-Natural Bath and Shower Gels.  Loved the way they felt on my skin, very silky.  The Sweet Shea had a sweet scent of honey.  I think my favorite was the Citrus Magic with the scent of orange.  The bath and shower gels have other scents including Lovely Lavender and Tea Tree.  There is also and Unscented.   The Bath & Shower Gels have NO detergents, sulfates, petroleum derivatives, synthetic preservatives, parabens, artificial colors
and NO synthetic fragrances.

Three organic bar soaps including Lemongrass patchouli (my son’s favorite), Shea & Honey Oatmeal and the Lovely Lavendar.  The Shea & Honey Oatmeal soap they were nice enough to include in the basket for my daughter’s sensitive skin. All of the soaps were not harsh on the skin.  The soaps had a nice scent to them.  My favorite was the Lovely Lavender. The soaps contain no sulfates so there wasn’t any lather, but I felt very clean after my bath or shower.

Next in the basket was the Skinfully Sweet Body Butter.  Loved the lavender and citrus scent with this product as well.  It’s whipped and looks like butter.  Absorbs into the skin quickly and a little goes a long way.  It kept my skin moisturized and soft for hours and wasn’t harsh on my daughter’s sensitive skin. My favorite product!  It’s good for sunburns too!

My favorite the Body Butter!

Then there were the Skinfully Sweet Skin Polishing Cubes in Spicy Spearment.  I rubbed the cubes in my wet hands and then applied them in a circular motion to my skin until absorbed.  Then I rinsed my skin.  My skin felt baby smooth.  Excellent way to exfoliate the skin.  Didn’t have to use a moisturizer after using the cubes.  The scent of the cubes reminded me of peppermint sticks.  Almost good enough to eat.

And finally there was the Eucalyptus Scented Dry Sea Bath Soak.  Loved soaking in this especially after a tough workout.  With these products I looked forward to my bath time every day!

EvaOlivia Organics is a family owned business that started because Lisa (Master Soapmaker) would have a difficult time finding skincare products without harsh chemicals for her daughters. The company is named after both of her daughters who were born premature.  My kids tried the bar soaps and the body butter and they loved both of them.  The products are made from scratch using raw organic and plant-based ingredients.  The recipes were inherited from her grandmother and great grandmother.

I can truly say that these products are wonderful and I look forward to trying more of them.  We had no side effects from using the products and I highly recommend them.  I just had to add that the packaging was beautiful too.

To find out more about EvaOlivia’s wonderful products please go to their website!  EvaOlivia is offering my readers 15% off of every of every order.  Just type in the coupon code BFH15 when you checkout.  You can also find them on Facebook.
