Malibu Beach Beauty Tea

Malibu Beach Beauty Tea

malibu beach beauty tea

Summer is almost here and that means spending more time socializing with others.  I want my skin to look it’s absolute best.  Sometimes your skin needs a good detox.  Especially after a very harsh winter.  That’s why I was excited to try Newport Skinny Tea’s Malibu Beach Beauty Tea.

I was given a sample of the tea from Newport Skinny Tea to try for a couple of weeks. Malibu Beach Beauty Tea helps to stimulate the skin and detox your system.  It can balance hormones that cause break outs and stimulate the production of collagen with an herb called gotu kola.

Malibu Beauty Beach Tea

I drink two cups of Malibu Beach Beauty Tea a day.  I have notice that my skin is smoother and clearer.  The tea has a pleasant taste and I don’t add any sweetener to it.  I would drink a cup in the morning and one before bed.

Instructions: Steep 1 Tbsp of tea per 1 cup of boiling water for 3 minutes, adjust strength as needed.

Malibu Beach Beauty Tea

I can recommend Malibu Beach Beauty Tea and will continue to drink it.   It helps to keep my skin smooth and clear.  Also, because I’m going through peri-menopause, it helps to regulate my hormones.  I have noticed that my peri-menopause symptoms have disappeared.

You can find out more about Malibu Beach Beauty Tea from their website, Newport Skinny Tea.

Disclaimer:  I received a free packet of Newport Skinny Tea’s Malibu Beach Beauty Tea to try and review.  I have received no monetary compensation for this review.  The opinions are my own and results may vary.

Radiant Skin With Skin Dew Hydrating Mist

skin dew

Keeping your skin radiant and dewy can sometimes be difficult when wearing makeup daily.  We have had some hot days here in Toronto.  Sometimes with makeup my face feels heavy and uncomfortable.  Thank goodness for Farmacy Skin Dew Hydrating Essence Mist.

Farmacy skin dew

Farmacy Skin Dew is a hydrating mist and setting spray.  It’s formulated to help moisturize, replenish and set makeup.   It contains essential oils, Rosemary, Bergamot and Peppermint, and has a lovely, fresh scent.  It also contains Kiwi Fruit Extract, rich in Vitamin C, Potassium, and Magnesium to protect the skin from harmful pollution and helps to improve the skin’s barrier.

Farmacy Skin Dew Hydrating Essence Mist contains  Echinacea GreenEnvy™ discovered by Mark Veeder. A unique patent-protected variant of Echinacea Purpurea, GreenEnvy™ contains the highest known concentration of the phytochemical Cichoric Acid, a potent natural antioxidant which helps protect and firm the skin by inhibiting the enzymes that break down collagen.

How to Use:
Hold the nozzle about eight inches from the skin and gently spray across the face.

Start at the forehead and work down to the chin.

Brighten up your morning by applying either before or after moisturizing.

Retain that refreshing feeling by reapplying throughout the day to rejuvenate your makeup and seal in freshness.

Subtle Green Vienne Regenerative and Restorative Lotion Review

Subtle Green 1

For the past few weeks I have been using Subtle Green’s Vienne Regenerative and Restorative Lotion.  I was immediately impressed with it at the beginning.  The scent is heavenly, it’s very lightweight and absorbs easily into the skin.

Subtle Green 2

I’ve noticed that skin is smoother, my skin tone is more even and my acne that I have been struggling with has almost disappeared.  Subtle Green’s Vienne Regenerative and Restorative Lotion increases circulation and helps to even out skin tone.

subtle Green 3

The ingredients are all natural.  Notice the first ingredient is aqua or water. My bottle has an expiry date of December 2015.  The dark colored glass bottle helps to preserve the lotion and limit its exposure to light.

I am very impressed with this product and highly recommend it to everyone!  To find out more about Subtle Green’s Vienne Regenerative and Restorative Lotion go to their website SubtleGreen.com.

The Last Day in May

My favorite picture I took in May and it’s also one of my favorite things about the old house. I will miss this beautiful chandelier.

It’s the last day in May.  The year is almost half over. Can you believe it?!  Not much new to report.  Busy packing and moving things to the new house slowly.  The big move will be later in June.  Nervous and excited about it,  Hoping to live in this new house for at least 10 years.  The longest we ever lived in one place was four years.

So last week I did post a couple of things to my Facebook page.  I received a package contain Subtle Green’s Vienne moisturizer.  I will be trying that out for a few weeks before my review.  You can find out more about Subtle Green’s products by visiting their website here.

Former Go Fit Gal PJ posted a tough Tank Top arms workout.  Sleeveless season is here.  It’s still not too late to get those arms toned.  Check out the workout here.

I’m still doing the FitnessBlender.com FBabs program. Every time we move I find clothing that I haven’t tried on in years.  About four weeks ago I tried on a pair of pants and a dress that were both snug around the waist.  I tried them on again last week and they were less snug. Pleased with the progress.  I will do another round of FBabs along with BodyRockTV’s Fat Burn Challenge.  You can sign up for the challenge here. You know I love a good challenge!

Recipe of the Week: Snickerdoodle Protein Shake! Yes, I made this and was satisfied with the taste.  It did remind me of a snickerdoodle.  So I will be making it again.  You can find the recipe here.

I Need More Time!

I need more time

This week in Beauty, Fitness and Health has gone by too fast for me! I need more time in the day!  I’m packing for our move to the new house, started Social Media Marketing School, reviewing products and to top it all off, I’m a mom! Just being a mom I’m crazy busy anyway.

This week I reviewed another amazing OZ Naturals product.  The Vitamin C Serum has added a glow to my skin that I didn’t think was possible. Check out the review here. Stay tuned for more reviews of OZ Naturals products!

The Derma Roller System giveaway ended. The winner was Christina G. I’m working on some more giveaways for the future! Stay tuned!

My Workouts: This week I did a lot of walking because the weather here in Toronto has been great!  I’ve also stepped up my workouts. I’m still doing T-Tapp a few days a week along with the Do You Yoga Beginners workouts, but I’m also getting my sweat on.  Here are a couple of my favorites from the week.

Recipe of the week  actually comes from me!  I was asked by the DailyBurn to create a protein shake for the #ShowUsYourShake campaign.  Check out the recipe for Chocolately Goodness here.

My Essential Oils

These are some oils I have discovered in the past year that are now
staples in my home.  Here is a list of
my essential oils.

Some uses for rose oil are preventing infections in wounds,
improving skin texture, stimulates menstruation, strengthens hair and gums and
cures infections. I started using it because I was curious to see if it could
help heal some scratches on my leg and tighten the skin underneath my eye. It
has helped to tighten the skin under my eye and within days of starting to use
it, it started healing the scratches on my leg. Nothing else worked.  It also has a lovely scent, which
automatically boosts my mood.

Evening primrose oil-I use it for peri-menopausal symptoms like
breast tenderness and hot flashes. It’s also used for acne.  I haven’t noticed much of a change in my skin,
but it has helped with breast tenderness and the hot flashes. Evening primrose
has essential fatty acids or EFAs which is great in relieving inflammation in
the joints and dry skin and hair.

Tea Tree Oil- I originally started using the tea tree oil for
acne.  My skin started breaking out
in these horrible little bumps. Months later I can’t see that it has made much
difference. Then my daughter got lice.  I
started using it in her hair to get rid of them and it was a success. Knock on
many pieces of wood.  I still use it even after
getting rid of the lice to keep them away.
I mix it with coconut oil. I put the mixture in her hair a couple of times a
week.

Coconut oil-I started using coconut oil to
moisturize my skin and hair. I like using organic coconut oil.  It absorbs into the skin beautifully and
keeps it moisturized for hours.  It helped
get rid of the lice from my daughters hair. I use it on the kids’ hair
weekly.  I also mix it with rose oil and
use that as a deodorant.  It lasts for at
least 24 hours. Coconut oil is also good for raising your metabolism.

Please feel free to connect me with on, Pinterest, on Twitter as GFGKelly or Dancingvalentin, Facebook or on this blog. I’m finally on Instagram

I cannot imagine not having these oils in my home now. Results may vary and the opinions are completely my own. Please consult with a health care professional before starting any supplementation program.

Ageless Derma Stem Cell and Peptide Anti-Wrinkle Cream Review

Ageless Derma Peptide Cream

I’ve been using Ageless Derma Stem Cell and Peptide Anti-Wrinkle Cream all summer as my main moisturizer.  This cream is fantastic.  I didn’t have many wrinkles in the first place, but I noticed that within a couple of weeks of using it my skin was clearer, firmer and brighter. I couldn’t believe my eyes!

It comes in a small jar that has a pump top that you press down on and a small amount of the cream comes out through the hole.   A little goes a long way.  It blends in quickly and has a light citrus scent.  It’s not heavy on the skin. I noticed that my skin stayed hydrated the entire day and I had no major breakouts the entire summer.

To find out more about the ingredients and how Ageless Derma Stem Cell Peptide Anti-Wrinkle Cream works watch the video here.

They have done the research and have created an incredible cream.  I highly recommend Ageless Derma Stem Cell and Peptide Anti-Wrinkle Cream. The Ageless Stem Cell and Peptide Anti-Wrinkle Cream is available at Amazon.com.  Please go to their website to find out more about this product and others at Agelessderma.com. You can also find them on FacebookTwitter, and YouTube.

Disclaimer: Ageless Derma  provided me with a free jar of their Stem Cell and Anti-Wrinkle Cream  to review. I was under no obligation

Tips to Have Healthy, Glowing Skin

We
need to protect our skin in order for it to look young and healthy. Our
skin is our largest organ, and we need to protect it from anything that
can harm it.

You
should drink plenty of water — this is the best way to effectively
treat your skin problems. Doctors and the nutritionists recommend that
you drink at least 6 to 8 glasses a day. It is also necessary to get
enough rest, and this means 6 to 8 hours of sleep daily. Acidic foods
and dairy products cause allergic reactions in some people, so these may
need to be avoided. When you follow a nutritious diet — which should
include fresh fruit, green veggies, and plenty of fiber — your body will
be healthy, and your skin will show it!

Here are some other methods for maintaining healthy, beautiful skin:
Consider Exfoliates
One
way to get beautiful skin is to use exfoliates, which eliminate dead
skin cells; this should be done once or twice a week. It allows your
skin to breathe, and it also helps to prevent any ingrown hairs that may
develop. It is necessary to avoid using body exfoliates on the face,
because the facial tissue is finer than other tissues. There are
exfoliating gels that you can use on your face, but people that are
affected by acne should avoid using these gels, as they may aggravate
acne problems. It is best, when you are dealing with acne, to consult
your physician — he or she will be able to help you.
Consider a Healthy Routine
Most
doctors recommend that you cleanse, moisturize, and tone your skin and
remove all makeup before going to sleep. No matter how tired you are,
you should cleanse your face before bed, and you should never go to
sleep with makeup on. Facial cleansing and makeup removal will allow
your skin to breathe as you sleep.

When
you shave, the razor strokes should follow in the direction of hair
growth — this will help to prevent razor bumps, razor burn, and ingrown
hairs on the face. If scarring on the face is unsightly, it is
recommended that use jasmine or neroli essential oils on your face. This
works with stretch marks also. There are arnica creams and ointments,
and these are good to use when you have bruises. Vicks VapoRub can also
be effective in alleviating bruises.
Exposure to the Sun
When
it comes to skin care, you need to avoid the sun. Over-exposure to
sunlight causes sunburn, although there are creams to help alleviate the
discomfort. You should cover up before you venture out into the sun, or
you should use sunblock. When you exercise, it is especially important
to use sunblock. Exercise itself will also help to keep your skin
healthy!

It is said
that your skin reflects your health, and that is why you should take
care of it. You should develop healthy habits, and this is a good way to
protect your skin. Lead a healthy lifestyle, and let your skin show it!

Spring To A New Me!

Walking with the kids today and we saw flowers starting to sprout up.  I kind of feel like the flowers. Right now I’m doing a diet and fitness program that is working for me.  I’m getting fit and healthy.  I want to be strong, lean and sexy. I want to continue to work on myself inside and out.  This would include something I have neglected for many years.  Since becoming a mom, I have don’t really have the time or the money to get the monthly facials.  I really miss them.  So, when I saw the Jessner Peel Kits from Skin-Peel.com I became really excited. Ingredients include Salicylic Acid that is used to fight acne, Lactic Acid used to boost hydration and improve skin texture and finally Resorcinol to break down hard rough skin. Great for eczema and psoriasis. Check it out! Jessner Peel
